Our church leaders do so much to help their community. They donate to those in need. They offer a shoulder to cry on. They prepare sermons and lessons to guide us. As you pray for everyone else in your community, do not forget to pray for the ecclesiastical leaders in your life. As we offer prayers for church leadership, our power to help them in their work increases.

Father in Heaven, thank you for blessing me in so many countless ways. Thank you for guiding me to a community wherein I can flourish. I humbly thank you for your grace and mercy as I work to improve my relationship with you.
I pray now for the leader of my congregation. I pray that you will watch over their health. Keep them from injury and illness. Please keep them safe so that they may continue to guide our congregation on the paths of righteousness.
Bless them that they will have the energy to teach and serve without growing weary. Bless them with the fortitude and endurance to carry on, even when they may be tired. Bless them that as they rest, they will recuperate easily and fully so that they may carry on doing your work.

Holy God, thank you for blessing our congregation with a firm, faithful leader. Thank you for hearing and answering their prayers on our behalf. I graciously accept your will as you guide my life.
Father, I want to express my gratitude for the service of the leader of our congregation. Thank you for providing someone who mourns with me as I mourn and comforts me in my need. They have been a blessing for so many people.
Holy God, I know that it may not be easy to always stand with those who grieve or who need spiritual nourishment. Please bless them so that they will have extra mental strength. Bless them with endurance and empathy. Please protect them from mental ills, and help them to stay strong so they may continue to serve and do your work.

Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for sending guidance to all of us here on Earth. I humbly thank you for showing me the paths that will lead me closer to you. The Bible is clear that efficient and competent leadership is vital for the success of any organization, including the Church. In Exodus 18:21, Moses is instructed by God to appoint leaders who are both trustworthy and honest.
This passage emphasizes the importance of having competent leaders who are able to provide guidance and direction. It also highlights the need for those leaders to be individuals of integrity who can be trusted to act in the best interests of those they are responsible for.
With an upright heart, he shepherded them and guided them with his skillful hand. – Psalm 78:72
The Bible is clear that those who are called to leadership positions in the Church are to be people of upright character. This does not mean that they will be perfect, but rather that they will be men who seek to live according to God’s standards.
This verse from Psalm 78 is a reminder that those who are called to lead the Church should do so with humility and Integrity. It is also a reminder that they must be willing to put the needs of others above their own. When leaders keep these things in mind, they can be confident that they are doing what God has called them to do.
