Thursday Morning Prayer for the Day
Lord, my week is in full flow and I have a busy day ahead. I wanted to stop and take a few minutes to give you thanks and praise for all the blessings this week has brought me and to ask you to bless the rest of my week. I know I can get very busy and forget you as the days get full and busy and the demands on me weigh heavily. The morning prayer is important to me so that I stop and breathe and remember to give you your place in my day. You are everything God, you are the creator and you are our future. Everything we do we do in your name Lord, and we walk your path as you command in the bible so that one day we will be reunited with you in heaven. This prayer is sent to you to remind me that you are present in my every breath and that I am here because of you Lord. As the day grows longer, help me to remember that Lord. Amen.

Thursday Morning Prayer for My Family
My family means everything to me, Lord. You have surrounded me with their love and given me so much by allowing me to be a part of their lives. I am asking you this Thursday morning that you help me to be kind and serve them well today. I ask you to keep them healthy and safe today and to put a smile on their faces. Look after them Lord as you look after all of us all the time. If one of them is I need peace, be there for them and guide me in ways I can help. Dear Lord, This Thursday morning I am asking you to look upon the challenges of the day and to help me get through them with as much success as possible. I know that you want the best for me Lord and that you want me to be successful in everything I try to achieve. I am in your hands today and I put my day in your hands, I trust your Judgement Lord. I know that you will guide me to a successful outcome. Bring me your blessing and guide my actions so that my day passes well and I make all the right decisions and take the right steps towards success. You are a wise and good God, you have many to look after but I ask on this day that you walk by my side and keep me on the right path in every way. You are a bountiful Lord and you provide me with all that I need in my life, look after me today in all matters of love, money and spirit. Help me be the best I can be on this new day. Lord this Thursday as I step out in health help me to remember that there are those who don’t have their health in difficult times. I thank you for your grace in allowing my well-being to continue and in giving you thanks for this I ask that you walk closely beside those who are very ill and need your strength and love today. Grant them some respite, bring good news to those you can help and support those who bear heavy burdens as you once did yourself. Lord heal those you can, carry those who need you most. Amen.

Thursday Morning Prayer for a Special Favor
Lord, I have a special favor to ask of you and I want to ask this with the most desperate and hopeful heart. This is something that means more than anything else in the world to me and I am asking it this morning because it is the thing that worries me most when I wake every morning. I am asking for this special favor because I know that you have the might and the kindness to grant this to me. The favor I ask most of you is (ask here for your favor). I know that this is a lot to ask and that you have many demands on your time from all of your flock Lord. I am asking this because it is the thing that brings me the most angst and worries, causes sleepless nights and is the thing that would help me most in my life right now. Lord God, It is easy to say my morning prayer and then ignore you for the rest of the day and do whatever I need to to get through the day in whatever way I can. Ask that you stay with me this day, that you help me to remember your words and you support me to make all the right tiny decisions to help me invite your grace into my life today. Keep me safe from temptation, make me strong in the face of it. Help me to choose you today Lord in all that I do. When I have a choice to be kind to others help me to do that. Stay by me, guide my hand and my heart. Bring me an ounce of your compassion and grace Lord so that I live this Thursday the way you would wish me to. In this way, I honor your name, Lord. Amen.
