There’s something about being alone that feels both peaceful and daunting at the same time. For Christians, though, being alone can be a time of spiritual growth and connection with God. If you’re feeling lonely, take comfort in these Bible verses that focus on the angelic presence of God. He is always with you, even when you’re feeling alone.
The Bible says a lot about being alone. You could use these Bible verses to get a deeper understanding. We don’t have to be sad when we are alone. We can remind ourselves that God is with us and that He has a purpose for our being alone.
In my periods of being alone, I ask that you please do not neglect me and leave me to my own devices. I know that, as a human being, I need time alone in order to regenerate and build my strength. However, sometimes loneliness gets to be too much.
Please hold me close and remind me that you are by my side. Lift me through this period and on to better things.
Amen
The Bible repeatedly tells us that The Lord will never leave our side. Sometimes, this is all we need to remember. And, sometimes, being alone gives us a chance to focus on ourselves. A moment of peace away from the hubbub of the modern-day world to reconnect with God.

Whether or not we consciously seek it, we all find ourselves alone with God at some point. We cannot achieve solitude with the Lord through our own willpower, which is why we make space to ask Him to calm our thoughts and give us concentration. Invite God into your life while you are alone. Even when you don’t ask for Him, He is present at each and every moment of every day. You can clearly sense His loving presence when you ask Him to be with you.
