God has a message for you today and these Bible verses about the devil come with both a warning and a promise. The Bible tells us of the threat of false apostles doing the work of Satan but also of Gods protection granted to us and the shield of God that can cover us in safety.
The Devil wants to kill true believers. He wants to destroy you. He will use every possible means of reaching you and sometimes this means working through others. He will send others into your life or temptation into your path to mislead you from the path of God and his teachings.
Ignoring the words of God invites the Devil into your life.
If you suspect the work of the Devil in your life, perhaps offer God a prayer for protection against evil spirits to drive them from your life.

Corinthians 11:14
And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
It is not enough that we stand in Church and praise his name. The agents of the Devil can stand beside us in Church and shake our hands with a handful of thorns.
Corinthians 11:14 tells us that Satan himself disguises himself as an angel of light in an attempt to reach us. His workers acting in our lives can do the same and they appear in our lives as if to be an angel or friends.
As Christians, we must not open ourselves to the influence of people that are not true followers of Jesus Christ, for Satan understands the temptations and dangers of influence and will send them into our lives.
Ephesians 4:27
And give no opportunity to the devil.
The Devil and his works are cunning. Temptation can seep into our life through small sins that we convince ourselves don’t really count.
The Bible tells us that the spirit of the Antichrist is already here on Earth. Already working against us, but we do not need to look for a creature with horns and flames.
We need only to see the evil works of man giving in to sin and granting the Devil and opportunity to work within their lives and our own.
It is easy to ignore this message.
It is easy to turn from the word of Christ and fall to a life of eternal damnation.
But if we truly submit ourselves to Christ, then we are granted the armor of God. We need not fear his work or his workers because the angels of the Lord are by our side.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Lip service to God isn’t enough to protect us from the clutches of the Devil, but true belief and following his word will send the evil one fleeing from you.
The further we fall from the word of God, the closer we fall closer to the Devil. If we walk the path of Christ as he tells us and embrace those in our life, we do the same; the Devil cannot hope to enter our hearts and minds.
Corinthians 2:11
So that we would not be outwitted by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his designs.
Those who walk blindly through life will stumble into his trap, but those who know of the work of the Devil and counter it with the love and teachings found in Christ will be saved.
When we live righteously, when we live a life for God, when God is with us, not even the Devil can be against us.
James 2:19
You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!

Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
