Release them from the chains of past mistakes and past sins. Forgive them, Lord, and remind them that there is no condemnation in Christ. They are a new creation, the old is gone, and the new has come.
Help them to make plans and lay these plans at Your feet, Lord Jesus. Equip them with the knowledge and wisdom that they need on this new journey. Connect them with the people who can help them succeed and keep them accountable.
Bless the work of their hands and let them abound in every good work. With each success they achieve and each problem they face, may they continue to praise and glorify Your Name always. And may they always stay rooted in Your Word every day and every waking hour.

We know of Your unending love and boundless grace, and we know that You will set free those who come to seek You with all their heart.
Lord, we ask You to free them from the condemnation, free from the lies of the enemy. Let them know the truth, and let the truth set them free. The truth is that they are Your children, that they are loved, and that they have the power to change because You will break the chains, and You will set them free.
