Dear Lord, I come to You, eyes closed and knees bent, asking for protection for my pregnant daughter. Please protect her mind, body, and spirit throughout this pregnancy, Lord. It is so easy to get caught up in the woes of being pregnant and we forget to rejoice in the fact that our bodies were designed for this very feat by the One who created the heavens and the span of the oceans. Please protect her mind during all of the hormonal changes that she will experience, Lord. I pray that You protect her from post-partum depression and if that is a battle she fights, that she knows she will never walk that battle alone with You by her side.
