Healing can be difficult and a serious emotional process, but with God, it is possible to find peace and healing with time, support, and self-care. And now, we’re here to pray for it, whatever Your experiences are. God is always there watching over us, and His promises never fail.
His love never fails. His mercy never expires. Even though we are weak and poor, God will never abandon us till the very end or even the age of time. So now, let us pray together with one spirit.
Let us pray.

Short Prayer For Healing Childhood Trauma
Our dearest and heavenly Father, we pray for hope and strength for those who have experienced the worst times in their lives. May Your glory shine, and we pray that You heal those scars that will stay with us forever. Let them have faith and confidence in their lives and help them know that there are greater things to come to those who endure. Those times of days will come to pass and a new leaf will spring anew.
Thank You for the love and presence You brought to us, Lord. We trust in Your plans and we pray that You will bring us the healing and restoration that every one of Your children needs. May You replenish us, Lord, renew our spirit, and cleanse our thoughts of any atrocious things that are implanted from our past.
Amen.
Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you. – Exodus 23:25
Prayer To Heal Soul Wounds
Lord, we pray that You sew these wounds Father. Though these marks will remain in them still, Your blessings will surely overflow. We pray for Your healing touch Lord to restore our minds, body, and soul. Father, help us to find hope and joy in the present and to believe in a brighter future. What lies ahead won’t be any assurance that we will be joyful or happy, but knowing that You heed our calls and hear our cries, we can find the peace that is beyond our capacity to understand the situations we’re facing.
Help us to trust in Your goodness and Your grace and to have faith that You are working in my life for my good and Your glory. I know that You are sovereign and that You are in control, and I trust in Your plan for my life. We know that You are the Great Physician and that You are able to do more than I could ever ask or imagine.
Amen.
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. – Peter 5:7
Prayer For Healing Trauma
Lord, we know that healing from trauma takes time, and we ask that You would give those who are struggling the patience and perseverance they need to journey through their healing process. May they find support and encouragement from others, and may they know that they are not alone in their struggles. We pray for those who have experienced physical, emotional, or any form of abuse, and we ask that You would bring them Your healing touch. May they feel Your loving arms around them, providing them with the comfort and strength they need to face each day.
You’re the God that heals Father, our Jehovah Rapha, We seek Your healing and restoration for those who have suffered such gruesome traumas. We pray that You would give them the strength and courage to face the challenges that come with healing from trauma and that You would provide them with the support and resources they need to heal.
Amen.
I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears. – Psalm 34:4
Prayer For Trauma Survivors
Dear Father in heaven, we come to You carrying the weight of our troubled hearts and tormented souls. Please surround us with Your loving presence and the support of friends and loved ones. Being a survivor doesn’t mean that the battle is over, for we do not only battle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and especially spiritual wickedness. We will still experience pain throughout our lives as we go and continue our ways. There will be a possibility that these memories will haunt us throughout the day so we pray Lord, that You always walk with us. Blow out the clouds that are shrouding our visions. All we want is for You to take over our lives and always provide us with the light for our path when darkness seems to linger on us.
Lord God, we trust in Your goodness and Your plan for each of everyone’s lives. Mend us Father and bring hope that we may use our story to bring good news into the world. Use us a vessel Oh Lord to declare Your goodness, so that people may see the goodness in me which is through Christ Jesus.
Amen.
And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. – Peter 5:10
Prayer For Childhood Trauma
Lord, we have come to You with a heavy heart and a wounded spirit. The pain experienced through our childhood trauma has intensely affected us deeply. There are times when we struggle to find peace and reconciliation from these afflictions. Grant us wisdom to understand and process our emotions, and the grace to forgive ourselves and others who may have caused harm.
It can be difficult to cope with the pain and hurt that come with trauma, and it can take time to heal and find peace. Please give us the strength and courage to face our pain and to seek out the help and support I need to heal. Help us to find hope and to see the good in the world, even when it feels hard to do so. Please be with us as I take the steps I need to take time to heal and move forward with our lives.
Amen.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. – John 1:9

Always help us remember that it is okay to take time and be gentle with ourselves. Be honest and truly acknowledge that we’re hurting inside, for it is the way God can help us and guide us on what we need to surpass the misery we feel.
Lord, we pray for those who have experienced trauma in their childhood. It has left them feeling overwhelmed, hurt, and lost. I know that You are a loving and compassionate God, and I trust that You will be with us every step of the way as we work to heal and find peace. We pray all of these things in the name of Jesus, who suffered and died for our healing.
