Verses
Psalm 34:18
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
In times of trouble and need, it is easy to feel crushed in spirit. The words of God remind us that those who are experiencing challenges should take refuge in the Lord. The Lord promises that any man who rests their hearts in Him shall be delivered.
God wants us to know that he is close to us. He will deliver us, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who have faith in Him.
When you feel tired, do you find yourself feeling alone? Our God tells us he keeps a watchful eye on those who love him. We should never feel alone, for He is always with us.
Jeremiah 31:25
For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.
God knows when we feel tired. There are days when we feel that we’re running on empty. The wonderful thing about our God is this: we only have to do one task, which is to love Him.
We get to find peace and remain still when we rest our hearts in Him. We get to hear our God’s heart where His love for us overflows. When we feel empty, He pours all of His love onto us and touches those around us. We feel fulfilled and renewed without effort.
Instead of walking through your path alone, try to find rest in Him. Listen. For through our God’s love, we are renewed.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through him who strengthens me.
Do not fret when you are suffering and in need. The Lord’s word reminds us that pure joy comes from knowing Chris. Even during bad times, Jesus strengthens us. Guides us. Uplifts us. Even if you can’t find solutions to the things you face, The Lord will continue to be your source of joy.
The world comes with many difficulties. We must not rely on earthly things for love and fulfillment. The Lord calls you to find joy in Him, for even though you hit rock bottom, you will still be filled with peace and love.
Corinthians 14:33
For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints.
Where do you go to feel at ease? Who do you seek comfort from? Do you turn to your friend and family? When you are discouraged and hurt, what actions do you take to ease the pain?
It is important to remember that our God is the source of comfort and encouragement. It is okay to seek comfort from others, for God has given us his children to help us and grieve with us. But we should always turn to God to give us the ultimate comfort. The Holy Spirit is our source of comfort.
While other activities and people can create a diversion to comfort us, these things only relieve us of our pain temporarily. Only God can put an end to our suffering. Take your anxieties and disappointment and offer them to the Lord.
