Dear God Almighty, you are the God of love, you taught us the meaning of love and showed us how to love. You sacrificed your only son for us so that we would know your love.
I am sending you this prayer for a soulmate because I know how important it is to you that we find this in our lives. I am sending it to you because I trust you will bring me someone who meets all the right standards.
I want to have a soulmate so that we can speak without words, someone who understands me and loves me for who I am.
I have a lot of love to give that person and I want to feel that all the time I spend with that person is honest and true and is an investment in the future.
I trust you Lord to choose for me someone who will accept everything about me and will love everything about me. I am prepared to wait until I have that one true love, my soulmate.
I am prepared to commit to my soulmate as soon as I meet them and to commit with my whole heart and soul.
A soulmate is a special Lord, help me accept that I deserve that kind of special love, that soulmate connection. I know that you love me and that fortifies me in the sense that I am lovable and that you have already identified someone for me to see what you see.

In the end, my soulmate will be so drawn to love and protect me that they will be fixed in my life forever. I long to feel the strength of that gravitational pull, I long to feel loved by someone who is my soulmate.
Lord you know I try to follow your word, obey your commands and be the best person I can be. I am not perfect and I try to atone for my faults and make amends. You see my faults and hear my prayers, you know what is in the depth of my heart Lord.
Match me with my soulmate Lord, I know that you will choose wisely for me and bring me someone who is perfectly suited. I trust you completely Lord. I will listen to any words you bring to my heart and will allow myself to be guided fully by you on this journey.
You understand love more than any mere mortal can comprehend, you understand it through pain and sacrifice and through hurt and loss, these are the teachers we all need in love. Only through pain and suffering can we come to fully understand your sacrifice for us and the need for love in our lives.
You are love, you taught us how to love, only because of this do we know love.
You describe love in the bible so well and describe a warm and healthy love where each party does things for the other, puts the other person first and lives through them. I don’t want a jealous love Lord and you command us not to be jealous of each other but to love and adore and honor each other as we love and honor you.
You sent your son Jesus to demonstrate the acceptance in love, a non-judgemental love, a non-critical love. You tell us to let he who is without sin cast the first stone, this really helps us understand that we are all flawed and helps us accept flaws in others.
I am waiting for my soulmate and my life to begin in full. I am waiting for this person to enter my life and for my world to change. It will not change my love for you Lord, it will show me how much you love me that you send me someone to take care of me and love me here on earth.
If you want to put this person in front of me, allow my heart to be open enough to recognize them as my soulmate.
Help me clear away past hurts and learn to trust my soulmate and not risk their loss by my insecurities and damage.
In turn, lord if this person appears in my life, I will give them my full attention and commit in every way. I want to feel that I am at the center of someone else’s life and vice versa. I am prepared to take time and understand the person, I am prepared to make sacrifices for the relationship, I am prepared to make myself a full part of a couple in every way.
A soulmate isn’t something you find on every corner, I know there is someone waiting for me, and I know that I am now ready to be part of that kind of relationship.
I ask you Lord to help me see that person, it might be that you nudge me towards someone I know already who is my soulmate. It may be a complete stranger and you will arrange it so that we collide and cannot help but be drawn to each other.
However you decide I am to meet with my soulmate, let me be open to the meeting and allow them into my heart, into my life. Once we have met and the connection is live and we are in a relationship, watch over us and keep us walking the right path.
We all know that we can meet false soul mates, it can feel like we have met the right one but it turns sour because the tie is not equal on both sides.
The gravitational pull can be infatuation, it can be a purely physical connection that we mistake for a soul connection because it burns so bright, but these connections fizzle out because all of the love you describe is not underneath that connection.
I am sure that when you put my soulmate in front of me Lord you will choose someone for me who is at heart connected to me in ways I cannot yet fathom.
Help me to understand the difference between a false soulmate and the real thing and to make the right decision when faced with this.
I need confidence in myself to be able to make that decision and to understand and accept that I am worthy of great love.
Lord God no one knows love more than you and no one understands me and knows me the way you do, you see straight into my heart, and my soulmate will too.
If you can find enough to love in me that must surely bring me confidence that someone else will too.
Bring my soulmate to my attention and bring us together Lord so that we can fulfill our destiny blessed by your Love.

Love means saying sorry but also that we forgive easily and we do not count every single action against the person. We forgive easily and we overlook flaws because we accept we have our own.
