Dear Heavenly Father, We are so grateful for the blessings You continue to shower upon us. We are grateful to live in a free nation, and we are grateful for the service of so many people who make that possible. We pray that You will always help us remember the sacrifice and the tragedy of that day. Help us remember the cost of the lives that were lost and help us honor their legacy by promoting peace and freedom. Teach us how to help those who are still actively mourning the loss of life from this tragedy. Many lost parents, siblings, and children. Help us remember their lives. Holy Father God, Your kindness and mercy are ever abundant. I am truly grateful for the miracles You have produced in my life. Father, this day was dark in history. Many innocent people lost their lives. Many heroes showed us their bravery and selflessness. On this day, I pray that we will never forget what happened and that we will live our lives accordingly. Bless all of the victims of the tragedy of September 11th. Grant those who survived healing and comfort as they deal with the lasting effects of the tragedy. Speak peace to their minds and hearts.
