As parents, your children top the list of your most important concerns. These prayers for your children’s protection ask the Lord God to watch over them at all times.
You want to protect them at all times. It can be stressful when they are out of sight and beyond your reach. God can send his angels to keep them from all harm no matter where they are.

Protection from Children’s Physical Danger of Harm Prayer
Almighty Father, keep our children safe at all times. Be with them as they go about their daily routines. All-powerful God, please don’t let any physical harm come upon our children.
Let Your angels support their feet and protect them from injuries and falls. Guide them as they drive away in their cars. If they are riding with other people, please direct the driver to travel safely. Let Your presence protect them as they go on a train or a bus. Remind our children to come home early and avoid risks and dangers that can happen at night.
Send Your guardian angels to watch over them as they cross the street. Dear God, please don’t let anything bad happen to our children outdoors. Keep them safe. With Your caring hands, lead them safely back to our home.

Child Protection from Wrong Friendships and Influences Prayer
Heavenly Father, I pray that you keep my children away from wrong influences. Lead them to godly friendships that will help bring out the best in them. Protect them from unhealthy friendships.
Help them cultivate friendships with individuals who can help nurture in them a life that is devoted to You. Use us, their parents, to be their guide and example for conducting fruitful and rewarding relationships. Let them also enjoy friendship with us. Shield them from shallow friends who won’t accept them and support them in times of weakness.
Lead our children to the right group of friends that will be a strong shoulder for them to cry on when they are hurting. Give them friends with listening ears that won’t judge them in times of emotional struggles. Keep our children away from persons who belittle and bully others in their most vulnerable moments.
O Father, let them spend time with people who will be good and godly influences in their lives. Remind them to always make You, Lord, the center of any friendship they build.

Prayer to Protect Children from Vices
Our Loving Father, protect our children from sinful vices. Establish in them a strong awareness of what is right and wrong. Build in them a desire to always live for You.
Keep them away from situations that will expose them to the practice of these vices. Protect them from the company of people who are addicted to alcohol, smoking, and prohibited drugs. Don’t let our children give in to the temptation of joining these people in the wrong things that they are doing. Remind them to continually prioritize you in their lives. Strengthen their resolve to resist earthly temptations and temporal pleasures.
May they have a deep yearning to live holy, clean lives. Let their love for you be their driving force to stay away from destructive vices. And let Your love protect them from moral corruption. May they realize that vices are unhealthy and destructive. Shield their minds from accepting wrong ideas on how cool it is to be a chain smoker or a heavy drinker.
O God, let them see that vices will not do them any good. Develop in them a desire to commit themselves to a healthy lifestyle. Hear our prayer, o Father.

Prayer to Protect Children from Sexual Predators
God, our Protector, keep our children safe from sexual predators. Preserve their youthful innocence and virginity. Let them stay sexually pure until they get married one day.
Don’t let them come in contact with adults who have no control over their passions. Dear God, don’t let our children become targets of sexual offenders. Keep them safe in school and in social parties.
Lead them to the right group of people they can safely hang out with. Help our children develop keen senses and discernment when it comes to the people they meet and make friends with. Help them be intuitive and cautious around strangers. O Lord, send Your angels to keep watch over our children at all times.

Prayer to Protect Children from Sickness
If your child is already sick, we have a collection of prayers for a sick child you could share.
My Faithful and Caring God, You are the Great Physician who heals all diseases and ailments. You alone can safeguard us from sicknesses. I come to ask for Your protection upon my children. Shield them from anything infectious or contagious.
If for some reason they do get sick, give them enough strength to endure and heal them quickly. Remind them to live clean, eat healthily, and keep fit. Teach them to be mindful that their body is Your temple, that they may refrain from abusing it. Let them focus on honoring You by caring for the body you have given them.
Develop in them a desire to devote their bodies to serving and glorifying You. Do not let them be drawn to using their bodies mainly for pleasure and satisfaction. Do not allow them to subject their health to unnecessary dangers and the possibility of contracting diseases. Grant them good health in mind and body all the time.

Our All-Wise God, the Source of all knowledge and wisdom, I ask that you keep my children away from wrong faith, beliefs, and practices. Nurture in them a desire to know You more that they may be drawn to Your Holy Word.
Allow Your Spirit to lead them into all truth, so that they may discern truth from erroneous teachings. Develop in them a strong foundation in Your Word, that they may not be swayed by colorful deceptions and fancy schemes.
When they find themselves astray for some reason, correct them right away. Lead them back to the foundation You have wrought in their hearts.

This Bible verse tells us that God will protect us (and our children) from harm. He will send His angels to guard us and keep us safe. The Bible tells us that we should never fear because God is with us always. He will never leave us or forsake us. When we are feeling lost or alone, we can always turn to God for comfort and guidance.
We can trust Him to protect our children, just as He protects all of His children. When we surrender our lives to Him, we can rest assured that He will take care of us and keep us safe from harm.
Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it. – Proverbs 22:6
The Bible doesn’t absolve us of our responsibility to protect a child either. This verse is telling us that if we want our children to grow up to be good people, we need to start teaching them how to be good when they are young. The Bible has a lot to say about protecting children and making sure they are raised in a safe and loving environment.
If you are a parent or guardian, it is your responsibility to make sure your children are raised in a way that will allow them to grow up to be happy and successful adults. Allowing them to walk the path of God.
