Psalm 139:14
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Are there ever times when you doubt your abilities? Do you feel as though you are struggling to let go of the guilt that you are dragging around with you? There are moments when life becomes overwhelming, and you may feel as if you aren’t good enough. This feeling can be crippling and can affect every part of your life.
It’s important to remember that God knows us all. He knows all of our thoughts, feelings, and actions as he created us with purpose and love. We were made by the same God who made the universe, down to the tiniest microorganisms and the largest planets and stars.
We were made by a God who loves us. And so we are made beautiful, for we were molded by the hands of God.
Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
God’s word says that we are created in his likeness. We were given the unique capacity to be moral and rational. We are a tangible mirroring of God’s intangible self. Along with the Lord, we experience individuality, truth, beauty, purpose, and volition. We can relate to the Lord, for He has mirrored us in His own self.
Our God is all-knowing. He is loving and powerful. God made you special, and He has a plan for you. God made you in His image and called you after His name.
Timothy 1:7
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
What do you do when you feel absolutely worthless? When hardships feel like they’re never-ending. How can you overcome these feelings of overwhelming worthlessness? In these difficult situations, you must remember who made you.
Our Lord God does not see you as worthless, so you shouldn’t either. He loves you and takes pleasure in you. Keep in mind who created you and how valuable, unique, and special you are in His sight. He is constantly refining you into something amazing. Into someone capable of many wonderful things.
Peter 5:7
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.
The word of God reminds us to humble ourselves and to resist the devil. He also commands us to cast all of our anxieties on Him. If there are moments where you feel overwhelmed with negative thoughts and emotions, learn to lean on the Lord.
We have always to remember that we have a God who loves us. A God who cares for us. We don’t worship an impersonal God that treats us like numbers and benevolently rules the cosmos from above. Our Lord knows us perfectly. There is nothing about us that he does not know already.
Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
God loves his children. He listens to them and remains attentive. He is ready to respond to our prayers, extend mercy once we confess, and provide comfort when we are in need. If we just ask, He will undoubtedly bear our load. But be careful not to put him on edge merely to break the agreement. Once you’ve given your worries to God, don’t take them back.
Through prayer, we can profess our faith to the Lord so that he may help us carry our anxieties. Our Lord is strong, and he can carry all our burdens with ease. Our Lord is all-knowing, and He has a plan to ease you out of anything situation. Our Lord knows what to do.
The Holy Spirit will be sent to strengthen you and bring you peace.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Father,
Please help the person I’m praying for remember that You are always standing with them.
Let them not forget Your everlasting love. You hold us tightly no matter what.
Even amid the harshest storm, Your love and faithfulness hold us tight.
Fill them with your spirit. Hold them closely. Together in this prayer, we decree that You are working for their good always. They can feel Your love pushing them forward to better days.
